My oh my…. we sure do love us some Ashley and Kostas! They are truly such beautiful and special people, and we are so blessed that they chose us to capture their story of love and commitment to one another. I especially love weddings because I feel like I learn such a tremendous amount about them while I’m there. We hear all the great stories, get to meet their friends and family, and they allow us to see into a part of themselves that is so special and unique! So, thank you, Ahsley and Kostas, for inviting us to be a part of your story and tell it the way we see it. 🙂I absolutely adored Ashley’s long cathedral veil – it was stunning!
And these shoes though! I LOVE Ashley’s blush pink shoes, and her blush pink perfume by ZARA was the perfect coordinating touch!
I thought their invitations were so beautiful as well!
The two boxes were gifts for Ashley’s sisters/bridesmaids, and the flowers were for the mothers and grandmother.
Makeup by Brideface – they did a beautiful job!
Kostas wrote a beautiful note to Ashley and had his bestman/brother deliver it to her. It was so sweet!!!! It also included two photos, one from when they first started dating, and one I actually took of them with my cell phone when we were doing their video love story!! 🙂 It says, “From two beautiful souls… to one beautiful family!”
I loved this totally candid shot I snagged of Kostas’ father gazing out of the window. <3
This is not posed at all. It was just the pure sweetness of Kostas’ mom coming over to make sure her son looked his absolute best. You can tell how proud both of Kostas’ parents are of him.
The ceremony took place at the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church in Cincinnati.
Really cute programs, right??
In Greek ceremonies, the groom will walk his bride down the aisle to the alter.
After the ceremony, we made our way downtown in the limo to grab some shots before heading to the 21 C Hotel & Museum for the reception.
I absolutely adore how stunning Ashley looks in this totally candid photo!! The light shining in from outside the window just gently kisses parts of her face, making her look extra radiant!
This was a fun shot to get! The motorists were really kind and patient and were cheering the happy couple on!
The wind was totally on our side the day of the wedding…. just enough to add some sass!
After we finished up downtown, we headed to the artsy 21C Museum and Hotel just a hop skip and a jump away.
This was truly such a special and heart-felt moment of the night – it was when Kostas’ parents gifted the bride and groom with their rings, a gorgeous crystal vase and some precious metal coins. A very tender moment!!
If you know anything about the 21 C Museum and Hotel, then you will definitely understand the purpose of the photo with the penguin. This penguin just randomly shows up to various events connected with the venue, and is commonly seen in very artistic photos which it manages to be a part of!
